Im Februar stiegen Chinas Kupfer-Importe aufgrund der anhaltenden Nachfrage verglichen mit dem Vormonat um 10%. Das Land ist der größte Kupfer-Verbraucher der Welt.
Chinas Kupfer-Importe verzeichnen im Februar 10%-Anstieg

Laut dem Zollamt in Peking belief sich der Import von Kupfer und Kupfer-Produkten auf 322.282 Tonnen. Allerdings sind es damit, den Daten von Bloomberg entsprechend, 2% weniger als im Februar 2009. Im vergangenen Jahr hatte das Land eine Rekordmenge an Kupfer gekauft.

Xi’an Maike Metal International Group und China Minmetals Nonferrous Metals Co. erwarten aber, dass die Kupfer-Importe für das Gesamtjahr 2010 nur 1,5 - 1,6 Mio. Tonnen und damit die Hälfte des Rekords im Jahr 2009 betragen werden.
